Mixtape 2

Mixtape #2 is a sketchbook comic diary rendered in watercolor and ink, following daily life, politics and everything in between. From the election, nightmares, chatting in bars, visiting museums, making up movie trailers, and documenting the Women’s March and SFO protests, Mixtape captures all the uncertainty, anger, passion and fight of the ridiculous era we live in.

Phonogram: The Immaterial Girl #2
“The Ice Storm” B-Side 5-page comic written by Kieron Gillen and drawn by me.
Published by Image Comics Oct 2015

“Jamaica Dyer’s piece is a short one, but it is stunning. Her watercolors and the soft drama of the characters feels like a short acoustic piece on the heels of a synth-pop driven fever dream in the main feature… Dyer’s visual symbolism and facial expressions really make this piece shine.”
