A painted comic documenting the artistic passion between Edouard Manet and Berthe Morisot. Berthe is an emerging painter in her own right when Edouard first asks her to sit for his painting, the soon-to-be famous masterpiece “The Balcony”.
The Jellywolf comic is based on Alma Har’el’s short film for CHANEL, we teamed up via twitter, and the resulting comic was released on I-D.
A series of illustrations observing the wildlife around Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA.
Weird Fishes follows the adventures of Dee, a young girl who sees imaginary creatures, and her best friend who dresses as a bunny. They both explore the social landscape of growing up as everything around them becomes more and more surreal. Originally a Webcomic in 2007, collected as a graphic novel by SLG in 2009.
